Fall Season
Volleyball (Grades 7-8)
Who: Separate boys’ and girls’ teams (grades 7 & 8).
When: Each team practices twice a week for 1 hour after school and plays a 7-game regular season versus the other K–8 schools.
Game Day: Wednesdays at 3:15 p.m.
Transportation: No bus provided for away games.
Playoffs: Top four teams qualify for the tournament at Brookline High School.Schedules: (check back for updates)

Cross Country (Grades 5-8)
Who: Grades 5–8. Permission slips available from the P.E. Department.
When: 10 practice sessions on the Baker field (1 hour after school) leading up to the town-wide meet.
Meet: Friday, October 17, 2:00–5:30 p.m. at Larz Anderson Park
Races (6 total): 5th Girls, 5th Boys, 6th Girls, 6th Boys, 7th–8th Girls, 7th–8th Boys
Transportation: No bus provided from Baker.-

Winter Season
Basketball (Grades 7-8)

Spring Season
We offer two activities in the spring. Check back for dates and details.
1) Flag Football (Grades 7-8, Coed)

Open to any 7th-8th grader; no cost to join!

Teams are Baker-only and scrimmage each other (no inter-school games).

Focus: learn the game, develop skills, and enjoy organized play.
2) Track & Field (Grades 5-8, Coed)
-
Meets after school at Downes Field.

Separate Grade 5-6 and Grade 7-8 meets (dates forthcoming).
-
No bus transportation to meets.

Students are placed in events and compete against athletes from other Brookline K–8 schools.
Track Events: 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 55m Hurdles
Field Events: High Jump, Long Jump, Javelin, Shot Put
